Now this is old news already, but in a recent research of laptop manufacturers, Apple was found to be (one of) the least environmental out there. Can’t remember the figures, but if I recall correctly (in my warped Apple-fied mind) the differences were not so huge.
Anyhoo, the smelly hippies of Greenpeace are at it again and they’re swallowing every juicy chunk of the report and gone Apple bashing on their new Greener Apple website (http://www.greenpeace.org/apple/), throwing a futile fit as useful as a web based petition. Good thing they didn’t put their slogan to “I love my iPod. I just wish it came in green.” Because it like .. eh .. does come in green. har har.
